Sebastian Holden

University of Plymouth Careers Mentoring Programme

“I met Nika through a mentorship programme in my first year of university. She has been an incredible help in navigating the early stages of my career, offering support and guidance as well as opportunities to further my development. Her encouragement gave me the confidence to pursue opportunities I may have otherwise overlooked. I’ve really valued Nika’s perspective and honesty about events, industry and professional growth. I’m so grateful for everything she’s shared with me, and I hope to stay connected as I continue to build my career.”

Valerie

PWN Vienna Mentoring Program

“Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of being mentored by Nika through the PWN network. From the very beginning, her positive energy and can-do spirit made a lasting impression on me. What I appreciated most, however, was her openness in sharing insights from her diverse work experiences across different companies and countries. Having recently transitioned from academia to industry, I found her perspective invaluable. Nika helped me navigate this shift with confidence, offering not just guidance but also encouragement at key moments. She showed me the importance of standing up for myself and taking ownership of my career path. Her advice had an immediate impact – not only on how I shape my career strategy, but also on the confidence I now have to ask for what I deserve. Thank you for everything, Nika! ”
